Familiarity with and interest in environmental dispute resolution, consensus building, and landscape-level adaptive management programs is a plus.

Organization Overview

RESOLVE is an independent organization focused on forging sustainable solutions to critical social, health, and environmental challenges by creating innovative partnerships where they are least likely and most needed. We are a team of collaborative leaders, mediators, policy experts, strategists, scientists, and facilitators. We bring a unique combination of expertise to our work: mediation and process design; solutions-focused strategies and programs; and a capacity to create and launch self-sustaining social enterprise. As a nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization (NGO), we work across sectors, borders, and political lines to engage with business, government, foundation, NGO, and community leaders. Our projects focus on healthy communities, conservation, and sustainable resources.

Our headquarters are in Washington, D.C., with staff and partners across North America, Africa, and Europe. We work on local, regional, national, and global projects.

Program Overview

The Conservation Solutions Program designs and supports collaborative solutions needed to establish and sustain conservation efforts. We work to protect and connect biologically and culturally important landscapes, restore and rewild critical habitats and species, and establish and demonstrate how we can meet ambitious global targets. We recognize that a resilient and thriving planet is only possible if people from across the globe have the motivation and capacity to work towards this vision. As such, our initiatives focus on ensuring people have the tools, resources, and capacity to work together to protect and restore nature to ensure better outcomes for biodiversity, climate, and people.
