"Having owned, consulted for or worked with enterprises ranging from mobile payments operators to extractives and agri-businesses, Sheka has considerable experience of Sierra Leone’s business landscape. As initiator of several start-ups he has experienced both success and failure. With a background in marketing, he has advised businesses on stakeholder relations and engagements, and currently provides business consultancy services with an emphasis on FDI and SMEs. Viewing the private sector as a key driver of development Sheka is Chairman of GEN Sierra Leone, local affiliate of the Global Entrepreneurship Network, facilitating entrepreneurship by connecting entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, policymakers, and a director of entrepreneurial support organization Innovation SL, nurturing high growth and value creating entrepreneurs through helping to build a dynamic Entrepreneurial Ecosystem.
He is a committee member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Sierra Leone, and an Advisory Board member of agro-commerce impact enterprise Capitol Foods."
