Fatu has more than thirty years of combined international experience in the fields of population and public health. Fatu served as the Medical and Senior Medical Demographer at the Ministry of Health Sierra Leone from 1980 to 1994, and on the World Health Organization's Onchocerciais Control Programme (OCP) and The African Programme For Onchocerciasis Control (APOC) scientific committees for over a decade. Fatu is currently the Vice Chair of the Sierra Leone National AIDS Secretariat Monitoring and Evaluation working group and for Ministry of Health and Sanitation and Technical Advisory Committee for the Elimination of Neglected Tropical Diseases. As the Chief Executive for Dalan Development Consultants, Fatu offers high-level consulting and technical assistance services for local and international entities including the Governmental of Sierra Leone, international and local NGOs, UN agencies, and multilateral agencies.
