Claudette Juska

Technical Director, PR3

Claudette Juska is Co-founder and Technical Director of PR3 – The Global Alliance to Advance Reuse. At PR3, Claudette leads development of standards for reuse systems. The standards undergird new reuse infrastructure, making systems interoperable and helping them scale  across communities and global supply chains.

Before co-founding PR3, Claudette spent a decade in Greenpeace’s research division supporting campaigns to fight climate change, reduce toxic chemicals, and protect forests and oceans. She was part of a team of activists and engineers that redesigned cooling equipment to eliminate climate-damaging refrigerants. This work sparked the introduction of HFCs into the Montreal Protocol, saving an anticipated 0.5o C of global warming. Claudette served in the U.S. Peace Corps in rural Zambia where she supported community-led water and food security programs and brought HIV awareness to women and youth groups.
